"Red-Crowned Crane" Watercolor Painting
$180.00
Description
A painting of a Red-Crowned Crane (also called the Japanese Crane, or Manchurian Crane), inspired by individuals seen in Woodland Park, Seattle. I was inspired to paint the crane looking down over a drop-off as these birds are so endangered. Perhaps less than 1,500 remain in the wild.
I have a modified version of this painting in my online galleries where the background is greyscale; this is the original.
This piece has been hand signed by the artist (The watermark in the image is not on the original).
In an effort to help save these beautiful birds, I pledge that 20% from the sale of this piece will be donated to the International Crane Foundation https://www.savingcranes.org/
