These rigid, masonite-like art panels are very versatile, and I've varnished it so that it can be framed with a mat and glass, framed without glass, or set on a table easel! The varnish will allow you to gently wipe the painting clean, if displayed without glass. As long as you don't abuse it or intentionally get it wet (this is not a coaster), it should last a lifetime.
