A watercolor study done of my pet cockatiel. This expression is one he gets when he is exploring something that he's curious about.
This is a loose, expressive painting, and there are some subtle iridescent mica pigment shimmers in the background wash that do not show on the digital scan.

Materials: Artist's watercolors, acid-free archival watercolor paper.

Paper size: 6"x9"
Painting takes up nearly the entire paper size.

This painting comes loose, without framing or mounting, in a clear protective sleeve, and with care instructions. The paper is exactly 6"x9" and can be framed with any standard frame designed to hold this size. At least one mat should always be used with watercolor paintings to keep the painting from touching the glass.

The text watermark is not part of the original painting. The original is artist signed in graphite pencil on the front.
